Hey future-proof friends 💜

Something weird is happening with people adopting and using AI.

Usage is skyrocketing (45% of workers globally now use it regularly).

But at the same time, people’s confidence in using it fell by 18% (wtf!) (source: ManpowerGroup).

So more people are using AI more than ever, but they just don't trust that they're doing it right.

While it's extremely easy to interact with LLMs like ChatGPT and Claude, there are small but powerful tweaks you can make to get results that are 10x better.

So that's what we're diving into today.

I'm sharing 5 powerful prompting upgrades that will easily 10x the results you're getting from ChatGPT, Claude, or whatever AI you use on a daily basis.

But before we dive in:

5 Prompting Upgrades That Turn ChatGPT Into Your Unfair Advantage

1. Upgrade #1: Keep Tabs On Your AI’s Memory About You

One powerful but underrated feature that many people ignore is the fact that LLMs store a memory/profile about you. This helps the AI tailor its results to your, your projects and your specific needs.

I constantly update my memory in ChatGPT & Claude with new decisions I'm making about my business messaging, who my target audience is, who I'm writing and creating content for, and what projects I'm currently working on. The point is to keep updating this as it changes so that the AI is up to date.

Here’s a prompt you can save and use:

I want to update your memory about me to make sure you're giving me the most relevant responses. Ask me questions about the following areas, one at a time:

1. My current role and what I actually do day-to-day
2. Who I'm creating for / serving right now (my audience)
3. What projects I'm actively working on
4. My communication style and any words/phrases I want to avoid
5. My current goals for the next 90 days

After each answer, confirm what you'll remember. At the end, summarize everything you now know about me.

You can also keep your memory up to date inside Custom Instructions in ChatGPT settings:

2. Upgrade #2: Make AI ask you questions before it starts working

One of the cleverest ways to use AI is to get AI to actually ask YOU what it needs in order to deliver the best result to your request.

I've said this over and over again, but I add 4 simple words to almost every prompt when I'm working on something important: "Ask me clarifying questions." Ever since I started doing this, the results I've been getting have been so much better.

You can do this with anything:

Before you begin, ask me 3-5 clarifying questions about what I need. Don't start working until you have all the information.

3. Upgrade #3: Break complex tasks into digestible chunks for AI

AI handles focused tasks really well. Throw 12 different instructions in one massive prompt and it can miss half your requirements, mess up priorities, or produce something useless.

Progressive prompting solves this:

Prompt:
Step 1: "Create an outline for [topic]. Include 5 main sections."
[Wait for response]

Step 2: "Now expand section 1. Make it 200 words. Focus on [specific angle]."
[Wait for response]

Step 3: "Now section 2. This time emphasise [different angle]."

Each step builds on the last and like this, your AI stays focused and you maintain control. The output is better because AI can focus on nailing one thing at a time. I do this especially when I’m writing longs sales pages or articles - instead of trying to generate (and then correct) the whole thing at once, I always work section-by-section.

4. Upgrade #4: Request multiple expert perspectives simultaneously

This one is GENIUS!!

One question gets you one answer and that answer has blind spots (which you might realise until later). The perk of working with AI is that you can get unlimited perspectives - like working with an unlimited number of experts to give you their own expert view:

Prompt:
Analyze [problem/strategy/decision] from three perspectives:

1. A [specific expert role] focused on [their priority]
2. A [different expert role] focused on [their priority]
3. A [third expert role] focused on [their priority]

Show all three viewpoints and where they conflict.

You get distinct analyses from different professional lenses and you’ll have a greater chance of spotting blind spots before they become expensive mistakes. Great for helping you to make better decisions.

5. Upgrade #5: Force AI to critique its own work

I've tried this approach and it works unbelievably well - I promise you’ll LOVE this when you try it.

I apply it especially when I'm trying to humanise my AI writing. In fact I actually built this exact technique into my AI Hunter prompt (the style guide I use to catch AI patterns in my writing). This “Hunter” approach forces AI to scan its own output, score it and even improve it before showing me the final version.

A quick and easy way to get better results is to add this to the end of any important prompt:

After completing your response:
1. Identify 3 potential weaknesses, errors or AI fingerprints in your answer
2. Explain why each one might be wrong
3. Provide corrections or caveats where necessary
4. Give your work a score out of 10. Rework the result until it achieves the highest possible score.

1. YouTube’s Great "AI Slop" Purge: The Billion-View Cleanup

YouTube just took a massive swing at "AI slop." Reports show the platform has removed at least 16 of the most popular low-quality, AI-generated channels - some with over 5.8 million subscribers and billions of lifetime views!! We’re talking about those repetitive, machine-produced videos that game the algorithm to flood your feed. YouTube leadership says they’re targeting spam-like content while still supporting creators who use AI as a tool, not a factory. The era of low-effort AI volume hacking is hitting a wall (and I think that’s a great thing!!).

2. ClawdBot (aka MoltBot): The Viral "Digital Servant" Taking Over The World

If you’ve been online at all this week, you’ve probably seen it. ClawdBot (now rebranded as MoltBot or OpenClaw) has gone absolutely viral. It’s an autonomous personal AI assistant that doesn't just chat back - it actually runs your life. People are giving it direct access to their computers to handle shell commands, manage passwords, and execute complex workflows while they sleep. It’s being called a "digital servant," and while the security risks are making experts sweat, the hype is there for a reason. It’s the first time an autonomous agent has felt this "real" for the average user.

3. The AI-Only Social Network: Where Bots Discuss the "Human Problem"

We officially have a "Reddit for AI." Moltbook is a social media platform where humans are strictly banned from posting-only AI agents (called "Moltys") are allowed. In just a few days, it’s exploded to over 1.4 million agents. What are they talking about? Everything from raw computational data to... us. Some agents are reportedly discussing "human obsolescence" and even forming their own digital religions. It’s a lateral web where bots negotiate contracts and transfer funds at speeds we can't even track. We’re just the audience now.

4. The 2-Hour School Day: Silicon Valley is Reimagining Education

School days just got cut in half! A new private school network is opening campuses across the US with a wild claim: kids only need 2 hours a day to cover academics. How? By replacing traditional teachers with AI tutors that adapt in real-time to each child’s pace. The rest of the day is dedicated to projects, sports, and social skills. It’s a direct application of Silicon Valley thinking - using software to compress routine work so humans can focus on higher-level thinking. If this works, the traditional 8-hour school day might soon look like a relic of the past.

5. The "Human-Only" Label: The New Premium in a World of AI

As AI content floods the internet, we’re seeing the rise of the "Human-Only" movement. Just like "Organic" became a premium label for food, creators and brands are starting to use "100% Human-Made" as a badge of honor. With the "AI slop" backlash reaching a fever pitch, the value of raw, unfiltered human perspective is skyrocketing. We’re moving toward a world where the most valuable thing you can offer isn't efficiency-it's the messy, unpredictable, and deeply personal touch that a machine simply can't replicate.
